| Otto is a 7 yr old Boxer cross who has been in rescue now for
just over 4 yrs. He adores people and is very affectionate and loving when he
gets to know you. Otto is quite happy to walk with calm dogs but can get upset
if another dog is confrontational. He needs a home with someone who is
experienced with the larger breeds, has no or grown up children but where he will
have still have an active lifestyle. Otto is good to walk, has a good recall, knows basic
commands and loves playing with a ball.

Petra is a beautiful, fussy, friendly 8yr old Collie cross who
has been in boarding kennels for 6 months due to her owner's ill health. She can
now be rehomed as her owner is now in a nursing home. Petra adores people, loves
her walks and is good with other dogs. She will need an active home where she
will have lots of exercise and stimulation. If you can offer her a new start in

Bella is a mature crossbreed around 6 yrs old who has been with
us for quite a while now. She needs an experienced home with no or grownup
children, preferably with a large garden so she can play football all day long !
Bella would have to be the only dog in the family although she is fine around
calm male dogs. She is a quiet girl who is very affectionate and loves nothing
more than having her tummy tickled. Bella would love to have a new home in 2013

Blade is 7/8 yr old Staffy who was rehomed by us in 2007
but now needs a new home due to a change in personal circumstances. He is very
friendly and affectionate and loves having his tummy tickled. Blade knows basic
commands, walks well on the lead and is good with people, dogs and cats. He has
been neutered, microchipped and is fully vaccinated. |

| Winston is a 6 yr old Dalmation who is looking for a very
special home as he has been completely deaf from birth. He will need an
experienced home with no or grown up children where his needs can be met and
where there is another dog to give him confidence and leadership. Winston will
respond to hand signals so will need someone with patience who has the time to
learn how to cope with his disability. |
Cluney is a 4 yr old crossbreed who is very affectionate and
loving, knows all the basic commands and loves playing with a ball. He needs a
special home with experienced owners who have the time and patience to
spend on him and where he will receive lots of exercise and stimulation and
where there are no young children. Cluney has lived with other dogs but would be
better in a home as the only dog. He is housetrained, neutered, vaccinated and
microchipped. |

| Lucky is a very calm and quiet Labrador cross around 13 yrs old
who's owner has had to go into care. He is no trouble at all to look after and
he is still quite active and loves his walks. We are looking to place Lucky in a
long term foster home where he spend the rest of his days in the comfort of a
home. This poor lad should not be in kennels so please help him if you can. |
Roy is a very giddy and boisterous Staffy cross around 18 months
old who now needs a home due to his owner's illness. He is a very friendly chap
who would benefit from further training. He needs a very active home with
experienced dog owners who can give him the exercise and attention he requires
but will not leave him on his own for long periods. |

| Rocky is a vey sweet natured 4 yr old Staffy who was living
rough with his homeless owner. His owner moved into a hostel but was not allowed
to take Rocky with him. Rocky is currently in a temporary home but is desperate
for a permanent, forever home. He loves people and children and is fine around

Gretel is a Staffy cross around 7/8 yrs old who was in a
foster home for quite a while but has now had to come back into kennels due to a
family illness. Although not the
most beautiful dog in the world, Gretel has bags of character and a big
personality to make up for it. She adores people and children but would have to
be the only dog. Gretel needs a home where she will not be left for long periods
and where she will be loved for what is on the inside and not the outside ! |

| Fidget is a super handsome Rottweiler/ Doberman type
crossbreed around 14 months old. He is now in our rescue kennels where he has
settled well. Fidget has been
assessed by us and he has a fantastic temperament, in a nutshell, he is as soft
as a brush ! He knows basic commands,is good to walk and can be let off the
lead, is fine with other dogs, adores people and children (over 8 due to his
size) and has livedwith a cat. What a brilliant dog! |
Milo is a young Jack Russell x Patterdale terrier around 16
months old. He is typical of his breed, very energetic, active and always on the
go. He is a very spirited lad who needs a home with someone experienced with the
terrier breed who understands terrier behaviour and can give him the
exercise and stimulation he requires. Milo is ok around other dogs but would
need a home with no or older children (over 12). |

| Roxy is a 3yr old American Bulldog (born 09/06/10) who needs a
new home due to a relationship breakdown. She is pure white with a light brown
patch over her right eye. Roxy is great with people, brilliant with children of
all ages, is housetrained, good to walk, has a great recall, knows lots of
commands and loves playing with her toys. In fact, she is a perfect family pet .
Roxy needs an active home where she will not be left for long periods and where
the fencing is at least 6 feet high as she is quite an agile jumper. |
Trixie is a Shih Tzu around 3 yrs old who needs a new home through no fault of
her own. She is very loving, is good with people, children, other dogs and is ok
with cats. Her ideal home would be with someone who will take her for lots of
walks and outings - to the seaside, countryside etc and can put some fun back
into her life and devote lots of time to her without leaving her for long
periods. Trixie was originally used as a brood bitch and has not seen much of
the world so please call if you could offer her a very special forever home.

| Jack is a 2 and a half yr old Staffy cross who needs a new home
as him and his brother are no longer getting on. He is great with people,
children, other dogs while out but does not like cats. He knows lots of basic
commands, is good on and off the lead and will fetch his ball all day ! Jack is
looking for an active family who can give him lots of exercise and in return
they will get a very loving and affectionate pet. He has been neutered and

Genie is a lovely young female Staffy 15 months old. She needs a
new home due to being over protective of her owner's new baby. She is very,very
affectionate and loving, is great with other dogs, loves playing with her toys
and knows basic commands. Genie would make an ideal pet for an active family
with children over 8 yrs. She is microchipped and up to date with her
vaccinations. |

| Pepe is a 16 month old Chihuahua cross who is looking for a new
home with an experienced dog owner who has older children (over 8) or no
children. He is currently in a foster home living with a female dog with whom he
loves to play so would benefit going to a home where there is another dog. Pepe
is a very active dog who will need plenty of exercise and stimulation and where
he will be given strong leadership and not be treated like a lap dog. He has been
neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. |
Dixie has just come to us from the pound (01/05/13) and she is a
tri-coloured small/medium sized crossbreed around 4/5 yrs old. Although a little
bewildered at the moment, she does have a very sweet nature and loves being
fussed. She is easy to walk, know some basic comands and is good around other
dogs. An active home with older children (over 8) would suit Dixie, somewhere
where she will have lots of love and attention, be taken for long walks but not
be left for long periods. |

| Diesel is a 7yr old Lurcher who was rehomed by us five years ago
but now is back with us as his owners are emigrating and cannot take him with
them. He's a very friendly and affectionate boy who loves his walks and having a
snooze. Diesel would suit a quiet home with older (over 10) or no children where
he can have plenty of walks but have his own space to chill out.
He's fine around calm dogs but would chase a cat. Diesel is neutered, micro
chipped and vaccinated. |
Scooby is a 17 month old large crossbreed who loves to walk and
spend time with other dogs but is quite an independent lad and enjoys being
outside. Scooby would suit and active family with teenagers or older children as
he can get too boisterous when excited. A home where he could spend most of the
day outside and where he could live with another dog would be ideal. Scooby has
a wonderful nature, loves having a fuss and a brush, loves playing with other
dogs and gets on well with all dogs he has met so far. |

| Tilly (left) and Tia (right) are 5 yr old Llasa Apso sisters who
have been handed in to rescue through no fault of their own. They are lovely,
friendly girls who are extremely devoted to each other and so must be rehomed
together. They are currently in a foster home living with other dogs, cats and
children (over 8) and love nothing more than curling up next to you and having
cuddles. Both dogs are easy to walk and are fully housetrained. Please note
that as Tia and Tilly will need spaying, vaccinating and microchipping, there
will be a full adoption fee for each dog. |

| Wallace is a German Shepherd cross Collie around 4 to 5 yrs old. He is very well trained and walks well on the lead. He needs a home with someone who is experienced with his breed and who will give him lots of exercise and stimulation.Wallace would benefit going to a home with a bossy female dog who would give him direction and confidence. |
Jock is a very active 10 yr old labrador type crossbreed who
needs a new home through no fault of his own. He is great with people and
children of all ages, is good around cats and even the owner's pet rabbit ! Jock
is good to walk and loves running off the lead and playing with his ball. He can
be nervous when meeting strange dogs but is not aggressive, he just does not
want to make friends. |

| Paxo is a 6 yr old Fox terrier crossbreed with tons of energy
and will quite happily walk all day. He gets on with most dogs but would be
better living with a female dog. As he can be territorial, he will need a home
with an active family with no or older children who have had experience of the
terrier breed and behaviour where he will get the exercise and mental
stimulation he needs. Paxo knows basic commands, is good to walk on the lead and
will do anything for a treat. |
Murphy is a 5 yr old terrier and as such, is always on the go.
He needs a home where he can have the freedom of spending most of the day
outside rather than being shut in the house. He gets on with most dogs so would
prefer to live with another dog, he loves his walks and adores travelling in a
car. Murphy is looking for an active family experienced with the terrier breed
and behaviour that have older or grown up children and who likes to spend more
time outside and going for long walks in the dales and countryside area. |

| Vinnie is a young Greyhound cross around 2 yrs old who needs a
new home as he was not getting on with one of the dogs in his family. He loves
people and children but would be better in a home with older children (over 10
yrs) as he is quite clumsy with a tail that seems to knock everything over !
Vinnie knows basic commands, loves playing with a ball, has a good recall, is
housetrained but he does not like cats. He has been neutered, microchipped and

Fergus is an active 8 yr old Westie who unfortunately has had to
come back in to our rescue kennels. He is a lively, friendly little chap who
loves his walks. We are looking for an experienced home with someone who

| Dylan is an 8 yr old Westie x Poodle who unfortunately has had to come back to us because of his issues in a home when he is fussed too much. He needs a home where only the basics will be done for him such as feeding, exercise and somewhere to sleep. Dylan is good with other dogs and is great on or off the lead. Are you that special person who can understand his special needs ?

Stevie is a very handsome, larger sized crossbreed around 18
months old. He was handed in to the pound and left to face a bleak future there.
Now he's safe with us and looking for a new home with a new family who will not
let him down again. Stevie is a big, bouncy, fussy boy who has lived with
children but because of his size, would be better with children over 8 yrs. He
knows basic commands and has been neutered. |

| Victor is a young adult Staffordshire Bull Terrier around 4/5
yrs old who came from
the pound. He's a small, chunky, friendly boy,very cuddly and playful.
He's very easy to walk and doesnt pull at all. He would suit an experienced dog
owner who is familiar with the breed and who has no, or grownup children. |
Louie is a lovely 5 year old male Spaniel cross Bearded Collie.
He is house trained, knows basic commands, enjoys his walks and will play with
his ball all day ! He has quite a quirky nature and it takes him a while to trust you but once he does, he will be a loyal and loving companion. A home with older or no children would be ideal. |
